Delete Your Account

This page explains how to request deletion of your Dr C App account and the data associated with it, what is deleted, and what is retained. Dr C App (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is the stress-reduction app by Dr. Leonard Coldwell, published on Google Play and the Apple App Store.

1. How to Request Account Deletion

Send an email from the email address registered to your account to:

  • Email: ibmsusa@startmail.com
  • Subject line: Delete My Account — Dr C App

Sending from your registered address is how we verify the request is really yours. If you can no longer access that address, say so in your email and we will verify your identity another way before deleting anything.

2. What Is Deleted

When your deletion request is fulfilled, we permanently delete:

  • Your account — your login credentials and the email address associated with your account
  • Your profile — your account record and any profile information you provided
  • Your listening history — which sessions you played and your progress through content
  • Your statistics — your aggregated usage and wellness-journey stats

Residual copies are purged from our backups within 30 days of deletion.

3. What Is Retained

  • Purchase and subscription records are retained as required for accounting, tax, and legal compliance. Payments are processed by Apple and Google; we never store your payment card details. To cancel an active subscription, use Google Play or the App Store — deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription.
  • Analytics and crash diagnostics collected through Firebase are retained by Google for limited periods (crash data for up to 90 days; analytics identifiers for up to 14 months) and are then deleted or aggregated.

4. Timeline and Confirmation

  • Deletion requests are fulfilled within 30 days of receipt.
  • We will reply to your request email to confirm we received it, and again once your account and data have been deleted.
  • Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
